Video Gamer
When people ask where I’ve been
I can only say
This chair.
But in this chair
I’ve climbed the tallest mountains,
Swam through seas of gold and silver,
Traveled that vast and unknown universe,
And seen the most beautiful sights.
Most would say that I do nothing,
But they don’t know,
They don’t know the worlds I traverse
And they don’t know,
They don’t know what worlds there are to see.

I wrote this because most people think video games are a waste of time or make people violent, but that is just a stereotype. This poem shows the beauty of video games and how they take you places that wouldn't be achievable in real life.
