Something you Should Know
is that in the past I've made mistakes
I have caused pain to friends, family, and others.
I've watched the damage and learned
to apologize, accept, and
start new in that order.
Which left me with knowledge and wisdom,
to not make the same mistake twice, and
to say sorry without
being forgiven. Perhaps that is why I
am cautious of friendships. Perhaps
that is why I am especially forgiving of
others, but I am most afraid of
losing someone for mistakes I have already made once.
