A Walk To Remember
As i walk my path I think about all the things that could’ve been.
My past drags me into a deep depression like an empty room its dark.
I think about the people I let go like a dove being freed from they’re cage.
But then i sit and think were they ever really friends if they could just - walk out of my life in an instance.
One of the best feelings in the world is familiarity there is nothing sweeter.
My mind runs scenes and precious dreams.
I feel as though my memories have imprisoned me into a hole that I- cannot seem to escape.
Reminiscing on stuff from the past stirred up a lot of feeling I thought - were gone for good.
With time i’ve learned I can mend heart.
But I will never want to change what has happened to me in the past - because it has shaped me into who I am today.
