You Will Never See me Quit
You may see me struggle,
But you will never see me quit.
I don’t care if i’m weak or not,
I’m going to stand tall,
Like a tree with a trunk
Thicker than a truck.
Everyone says life is easy,
But it truly is not.
Life is a wicked climb,
When you get to the top,
The view is great.
Life is like a book,
Some chapters are sad,
Some are happy,
Some are exciting.
You never know what awaits you
On the next page.
Times get hard,
Some people struggle,
Some people fall.
You may see me struggle,
But you will never see me quit.
People get put on the spot constantly,
It gets hard,
Some people struggle,
Some people fall.
You may see me struggle,
But you will never see me quit.
I’m going to put on the largest smile,
Even though deep inside of me I want to cry.
I’m going to sound excited ,
Even though I’m worried inside my heart.
I’m going to fight to live
Even though I am destined to die
I will put on a smile when
I lay on the bed
Not revealing my true feelings
I would put on a smile,
Like if I heard a joke ,
That would make me laugh,
Until my guts popped off.
And even though it’s hard and tough,
And I may struggle through it all.
You may see me struggle,
But you will never see me quit.
