Childhood
As a kid you play and run
Stay out all day in the sun
Mom and Dad are sometimes yelling
When you'll get in trouble there is no telling
Going to the grocery store
Buying more and more
Cooking with Dad
Making food for my family to have
Waking up early for school
Trying to fit in and be cool
Finding a seat at the lunch table shouldn't be hard
Because all of your friends should love you for who you are
Hanging out with your friends on the weekend
Never wanting the fun to end
Repeating the same thing every week gets old
You feel like you are being controlled
But sometimes you have to let loose and be free
Because one day kids we may no longer be
