Noose is Strung
Images blur together
Once broken lines join as one
Hope is lost for the noose is strung
A minute late, and anger flows through him
One sip had turned into two
Then four and ten turned into bottles
A minute late and your fate is sealed
Nothing can be done for the noose is already strung
Time heals all differences is a lie
For time can’t heal this monstrosity
The hatred he’s feeling is pure and true
He hid his problem until it was too late to help
He used to steal your breath away with one glance
Then he started robbing your breath with a hand
Some injuries cannot always be seen
Now if only you could breathe
His love was a game no one can win
The score was known the entire time for he hates to lose
He strung a noose with his hands just for you
All you had wanted to do was breathe
