Sitting across the room,
eyes on me
never-ending.
Looking for attention and
playing games in my head to win it over.
Who is she?
So manipulative and persuasive,
not with words,
but with a sad stare.
Her voice is loud and clear
although she doesn’t speak.
Perched in the corner
she continues to gaze
and for some reason
I can’t help to look away.
She creeps deep into my feelings and emotions;
she makes me empathetic for her.
And a moment comes
where I feel lonely too.
