What is happiness? What,

Do tell, does it mean to be happy?

Chemicals such as dopamine, endorphines,

Serotonin and oxytocin are what I call,

Happy Chemicals. But what is happiness?

Is happiness the expression of 

Joy you feel when you clear a 

Game level? Is it getting something

You've always wanted since, like,

Forever?

Or maybe it's falling in love with 

Yourself, for your flaws, insecurities.

Imprefections and the very color of your 

Eyes? What about your partner's eyes?

When you see them, are you happy?

Are you in love, is this 

Happiness?

Or is it the joy of a mama holding

Her baby for the 

First time after Long Hours In Pain?

When Mama holds her baby, the world

Stops just for a second to Rejoyce

With Mama and her baby before it moves

On. Is this happiness?

What about when a vetern comes home

And holds their little ones for the first times

In Days, Weeks, Months, Years.

Do they feel happiness, is this what it means 

To be happy?

When the sky is 

Bright and saturated with

Colors and nothing else matters

But you and the ones you 

Love? Is this happiness?

Or is it just the chemicals within

Our brains in responce to

Getting what we want?

I think the formula for Happiness is

Love + Person = Happiness

Yes, I think this is Happiness.
