Darkness
Sometimes there is a darkness
Who catches me by surprise.
And her presence, when it lingers
Will steal the light out from my eyes.
She’s seductive with her feelings
She’s persuasive with her thoughts
And if i am not careful
I’m in danger if I’m caught
Darkness can feel like sunshine
Listen and you’ll believe
Her words, they are like perfect prose
There is something that feels warming
The way she portrays her cold
Somehow, it feels inviting
When you give it to her hold
Her question is a melody
As she asks for my choice
But i cannot help but notice
How it comes out as my voice.
