I wonder what it would be like
To go on the run
To pack my bags and never look back
To take all my tooth fairy money and grow up
To stop relying on other people and having them let you down
To be an independent person free of your previous life
To cut all ties with the people that used to matter
To let your hair blow in the wind
To be at peace with yourself for once
To control what you do and say
And I wonder what it would be like
To go on the run
Because I would never look back
