The lucky bike ride
I leave my driveway on my bike
Going down my street
The houses are passing by quickly like a train
The numbers are unreadable
I get towards the bottom and let go of the brakes a little
I start to go faster like a cheetah going after its prey
The houses go by quicker and quicker
Until i'm at the bottom
There is no way I can stop in time
The sidewalk coming closer and closer
Until I hit it
The bike goes flying
I go flying like a bird
And then I see it a big tree
I go flying into it
I go flying off my bike but i’m not hurt
I lie in the tree staring into space
Somehow I get up and get my foot unstuck
And head back to my house
