No one
"So my heart wandered
into a rainy night without them
and found a canopy
to hide under" (from "Changed" by Naomi Shihab Nye)
No one,
Nothing,
Just raindrops falling down onto the street.
No one
Walking down a path alone.
No one
Hiding form everyone and everything.
Each rain drop looking at you
Judging, staring, talking.
You just sit there, but all you see
is nothing.
No one
Looking into the cloudy night
to see if it will stop,
but no one there,
No one can hear you.
No one cares.
As the rain get loud.
You just sit there under that canopy.
As a tear rolles down your face.
No one
