I'm a Leaf

My skin is porcelain
It cracks as I move
I break everytime I speak
My face is but paint
It doesn't change even as I scream
It stays a gentle smile, never changing
My soul is a box of mismatched socks
Longing for its partner
Long lost
I am but a leaf in the river of creation
I hurt
I hurt so much
But it's worth every ounce of pain
