The sky is dark,
The ground is white.
I walk outside and see all the cars covered in snow.
I stand quietly and listen to the sound of absolutely nothing, nothing, nothing.

I wrote this poem about the month of December, because it is my favorite month. I love winter and I love it when it snows. I wrote this poem to show the great things that occur in that month. I used imagery by describing the sky as dark and the ground as white. Something I like about this poem is how I used repetition of the word “nothing” at the end. Something I can improve on in this poem would be to use more diction and describing words.
