Just like a firework
We are bright and sometimes loud
We are unique
we’re all different color
We sometimes ‘pop’ off
We sometimes are quiet but noticeable
Mentally we reach high for the stars
Like the fireworks in the air racing up to sky.
No matter what size, shape or color
We all shine and stand out in our own way
So go shine and stand out in the crowd
Show the world the inner you.
You are a firework.

After attending a firework show a few days ago and with the fourth of July coming up I decided to write about fireworks and how they attract people and I decided to write this metaphor poem comparing them to people.
