Roses are red
Violets are blue
You were once sweet
And so true
But I guess I was blind
Because I didn’t see
That what you’re doing
Is truly hurting me
And I loved you
So much I could die
But I didn’t know
It was a lie
I thought it would last
Forever and always
But instead
Just a few short days
Roses are blue
Violets are red
My story has ended
That’s what you said
