When the Apocalypse Comes.
Part one; Acceptance.
When the apocalypse comes
where will you be?
I will be sitting cross-legged,
in a state of pure tranquility.
When the world decides to end,
where will you be?
I will be praying--
under my willow tree.
When the sun goes out,
where will you be?
Living life, loving life,
my spirits already free.
When all life ceases,
where will you be?
Smiling a smile so epic,
it's all an inevitability.
Part two; Anger.
When the plagues descend,
where will you be?
Probably begging for mercy,
Keeled over on one knee.
When demons fly from the guts of hell,
where will you be?
I'll be sitting, laughing so hard,
they simply fly over me.
When civilization crumbles,
where will you be?
I'll be dancing carefully on line,
of what we call reality.
When the four horsemen ride--
from here to eternity.
You'll think twice about who you are
and what you'd like to be.
