Green grass and blue skies wilt
A grey building and black smoke
Obliterate.
Blue mixes with black and grey and ash.

Scream world scream!
The earth rumbles and cries
Black tears run through every crevice
She wails and weeps.

A grey sheet slowly chokes her
and she struggles to reclaim
what was just a dream.

Scream world scream!
She rumbles and shakes
concrete and stone crumble around her
soot rains from the sky
and flames light up the horizon.

There is no way to run
the truth is revealed- she is freed
and we are imprisoned
in
   our
        own
             Annihilation.
