Quitting
In high school I gave up on Basketball and Baseball losing teammates I played with for two years
My biggest fear is being known as a quitter
My biggest fear is letting this wipe away the
blood, sweat, and tears that I will forever remember
The relationships
The laughs and struggles
The paranoia
Yes it’s me
Or maybe it isn’t
You see when we are apart of a team and we let go for other opportunities something enters the air
Perhaps steam fueled from this team or making too much of this thing that you just can’t help wonder about
Yes it’s them they’re pressuring
Or maybe it’s me
But this is exactly what happened to Russ and KD
And KD won a championship while Russ could just envy his new opportunity
And that’s the only thing that matters
Forget whether leaving a team will destroy your past
It’s time to fast track forward and just move on
