CROSS ROADS
CROSS ROADS
i look everywhere but back
because i know what lies on the other side of the track
a place i don't want to be
a place the doesn't want me
the times we had
the good the bad
the happy the sad
do you remember days like those i was your only member
and you had all my clothes
i look left and i even look right
no matter what i cant forget the fight
I'm mourning no more
I'm starting to get up off the floor
I'm at cross roads my dear
why don't you stop and hear
i met a person who opened my eyes
another who led to my demise
one who showed me your lies
and one where my heart truly lies
like the girl
who sits in front of me
i pulled her bow
and now were buddies
compared to me shes much better
some reason she listened to what i said to her
I'm glad i met her
my newest shelter
next is the guitar player
I'm only past very few layers
to my dismay there is scar tissue
just like me many many issues
i met this rebel
who dreamed of revolution
with you id never
i guess its part of the evolution
at a time your right i did love you
what you thought was completely true
you made me close my eyes
sheltered me from all the other lives
soon after i opened my eyes
i can see what lies
under you
the girl who thinks a lot
first time i saw her i thought
damn shes hot
and now i see
this is happened to more than me
this messed up conspiracy
hearts shredded
lives torn
i know where this is headin
might as well stop now to morn
the people she lost
the people shes gained
hearts true cost
enduring to much pain
the happiness
the girl who loves ducks
she reminds me of me
before all of this without the
possibilities
the same girl i never paid attention too
she reminds me a lot of you
shes innocent like you were too
time flew
time flies when you're Imprisoned
my heart has never risen
from the fateful night
the horrible fight
i almost caught me some light
I'm never going back
never given
never going home
never becoming him
always holding on
never letting go
walking across my lawn
letting the good times go
you gave me hope
made it easier to cope
kept me not so lost
I'm never going back
Doors open
Doors close
who i am
true colors show
