Like always I was the last person out the door
even though I was always the first person to get up.
Every morning i’m really absent-minded and distracted by a lot of things.
I woke up before anyone else that morning.
I was just watching tv out in the living room.

After my mom got up and she started getting ready, I waited until last minute to get ready.
I usually wear my glasses every morning after I get up then put my contacts in when
I’m all done getting ready
That morning my mom was ready and out the door and I didn’t have time to put my
contacts in.
So I decided to bring them with me in the car.

Well that was a bad idea.
There wasn’t a whole lot of traffic, it was subtle.
It was a sunny quiet day.
As we were stopped at a red light, I thought it would be a good time to try and put them in.

But I was wrong.
I got the contact for my right eye in but as I was trying to but the left one in,
I saw the light change.
As we turned I hit my arm on the side of the car and I dropped my contact on the floor of the car.
When I saw it on the ground I picked it up and it was covered in dirt.

I am very disorganized and off-track in the morning.
I need to stay focused and not get so distracted by watching tv.
Every morning I should get ready right away and not waste any time.
Next time I need to get more organized and put my contacts in before I do anything else.
