A Walk in the Park

Cars drive by
Birds fly high in the sky
Today is a gloomy day.
No sun out, shining its rays
The smell of dirt crinkles my nose
Eyes watering from the wind that blows
The ground is wet from the rain
My boots are muddy, what a pain
Drops of water fall off the leaves
Carefully I stare at the trees
They turn colors of reds and yellows
The grayness in the sky is so mellow
The weather is changing
Fall is arranging.

The author's comments:

The weather where I live is changing and fall is coming. When writing this poem, I sat outside on the bench and just observed the outdoors. I really payed attention to the little things like the leaves on trees and things like that. I also made it rhyme to give it a little rhythum.
