happy
1.She was the girl that nobody cared about
that was all alone in the world
that had a secret hiding under those long sleeves
the mistake she made more than once was
never going deep enough
to actually feel something
2. Every night alone in her room
she cries and wishes to die
she would grab ahold of the cold stained metal
trying her best to feel something
trying to stop but the voices in her head won't go away
3. The next morning she puts on a fake smile
And wears loose fitting clothes
just to hide the pain her secret is killing her
wearing a fake smile being someone she's not
just to please others it's killing her
It's like she's underwater
The feeling of gasping for air
And just sinking
4. The jokes the pain the emptiness inside
it needs to stop it needs to go away
she cant take it she leaves class and runs home
just to see that shiny devil again
pulling up her sleeve
feeling the sweet stinging burn
She can't do this anymore
5. sitting at the corner of her bed
writing the words she leaves them with
She grabs her only friend and tells herself it will all be over soon
she closes her eyes and everything goes black
6. The next day she wakes up
as if it was all a dream
she looks around just to find herself laying in her bed
alarm clock ringing but there's a note she wrote herself
she opens it and all it says is “ i couldn't do it”
7. Fast forward ten years ahead
she has a family she did it
her scars are faded
she feels something she made it
she beat her demons she survived
she is finally happy
