Life Is A Gift
Staring out the glass
Tears are streaming
From the sky.
While plans
For life are abolished.
The big bully wind
Tearing and ripping
Everything in its path.
The window shatters
In to my face.
I scream bloody murderer
While I lay on the floor.
All hospitals closed
So I get no help.
I got better, and
When the storms gone
And the clouds are happy
I give thanks for life, and
Value each day as a gift
From God, and I use
86,400 seconds wisely.
