It's okay, she tried.
I feel great, she cried.
But the truth was in her tears
The screaming never left her ears
only lies spewed out her mouth.
I got it during a boxing match, she lied.
But the anger behind the bruises wasn't hers
And the physical bad luck wasn't a curse
She had no will to fight back.
It'll all be over soon, she sighed.
But her statement wasn't a sign of relief
It was a poor action taken upon grief
How could she feel anything six feet deep?
There's nothing left to say, she died.
