FISHING
I woke up extra early today
 and I'm happy about this.
It is not for school but play
for today we are going to fish.

I think about casting my reel
into Old River and catching white perch.
I think about driving and steering the boat wheel
as I put on my lucky fishing shirt.

I always get something to eat
before we head out to the water.
I always pack many different treats
and I hurry because time grows shorter.

I cast my reel into Old River fast
as I remember the many fish I have caught.
I think about how long I whsh this day to last
and remember the things I have been taught.

I know best of all that today
I'm with my dad and friends.
I know this I must say
is all that really counts in the end.

Ths will certify that the above work is completely original.
