Bleak
Her demons haunting
Causing trouble in her time.
Traumatized family, friends, future.
Conductors of evil cramped begging to be free.
The brawler of the brute takes this battle,
To finally conquer her fears.
The fight was on its way,
Been preparing for
Days, Months, Years.
Champion of death has won against the monster before,
Now it’s time again.
She walks into the room of fate,
Her armor under her arm.
Knifes, rope, drugs.
Our soldier has to pick the best tactic
To take on the killer of teenagers.
No one expected this from a loved child.
No one expected her to have to battle the behemoth.
No one expected.
The battlefield was cold and cowardly,
Tile flooring burned her feet.
She decided to take a pen
And a piece of paper,
To write her final words to that demon,
Ultimately, the people she loved the most.
Transcribing it in ink,
The writer of goodbyes drew her only weapon.
Drugs would be painless,
Deciding to dope her demon was the smartest decision.
Open the bottle of killers,
Pour out the pills.
Looker of souls gazed into the mirror.
There it was.
Trapped in the glass,
Tears fall, tapping the tile of the floor.
One pill,
Two pill,
Three pill,
Four.
Time to play the waiting game.
A rush of emotions all over the devil’s chamber.
Questions queued through her mind,
Was this fight about to be ended once and for all?
Who would open the door?
Who would find
Her parasite’s body?
What would happen when--
