The Desired Fire
All it takes is a little flame
To set fire to the rain
All you need is a little spark
To set fire to a park
All I need is a twinge of anger
To put you in the way of great danger
You don’t know that death stares you in the face
Your heart is still beating at a steady pace
You won’t see me in your line of sight
To avoid getting caught, I’ll take you in the night
And then I’ll fulfill my greatest desire
To watch you burn when I set you on fire

In my english class, we have an image of the day. We have to write a story about the image; it's supposed to help us with creativity. I used to write stories, but when I realized I didn't connect to them like I should, I decided to write poems. The first few I wrote I didn't share aloud, I first wanted to get a feel of it. One day, my teacher put up a picture of something on fire and told us to write. So, I wrote a peom. This was the first poem I ever shared with my class.
