Lady liberty looks out to sea,
a fog comes in with sounds of the sea.
peaceful at first.
strong like a rock, smooth as the surf.
this song brings the ships of the sea,
with people yearning to be free.
the song changes, the fog grows to its worst.
liberty no longer sees the surf.
she hears the voices from the sea,
the masses are not masses but the worst of the bee.
evils who tare at freedom from the surf.
she perseveres at the worst.
her light of freedom glows brighter to see,
as the free sing from sea to shining sea.
to the free, stand your ground, be the first,
to persevere thought these Dark Times.
