Parts of the Ocean

The deep sea: as mysterious as uncharted space.
Its deep dark trenches never seen face to face.
Who’s to know what dwells in its hidden caves?
Or the bottomless sands which serve as ships graves.
The shore: where violent waves rage with anger as they grasp for land.
Seashells line the beach like stars in the sand.
The wind blows the smells of salt and a hazy mist.
This place during the summer we cannot resist
The open ocean: home to millions of creatures that swim freely in bliss.
Below it lies the deep sea abyss.
