Headstone
Here lies
A Name:
None.
No faith for one,
No point of fame.
Here lies
A Mind:
Afraid.
No thoughts left frayed,
No end left behind.
Here lies
A Dream:
Odd.
No path still trod,
No voice to scream.
Here lies
A Heart:
Gone.
No body to wrong,
No pulse to start.
Here lies
A Body:
Seen.
No clean stitched seam,
No death looking sloppy.
Here lies
A Life:
Done.
No pride to don,
No left-behind knife.
Here lies
A Soul:
Ethereal.
No use of material,
No life left un-whole.
