My Siblings
My Siblings
Life goes by in a blink of an eye,
And I’m growing up so quickly.
But it’s not just me,
I am one of three,
So we’ve grown up as one.
However, the days we are all together,
Are steadily decreasing.
Lance is gone left and right
And college is right in the middle.
I see him for a day or two,
Then he is right back gone again.
The times we are together,
Are the days of most my memories,
After a few short days,
I’m back to having only one sibling at home.
We all act as one though,
We are like the same person in ways.
I help Josie and Lance helps me,
It is a never ending circle.
I wouldn’t know what to do without them.
Sometimes the time we spend together,
Can be the most dangerous,
Mainly when I am with Josie.
We are typical sisters,
Picking on one another,
Or fighting over silly stuff.
But we always move on,
Usually with a scratch or bruise,
Or two.
But through it all,
They are my siblings
And I dread the day,
That we go our separate ways,
But I will always know,
That I have them.
