Ant Hill
My life is like an ant hill,
Small only to the human eye
Always building to be high
Even though they’re very proud
Some try to stomp them down.
But still they continue to live
And some try to give
Some try to keep a home
Sometimes they would like a huge ant hill dome.
Sometimes they act out to impress a queen
But some are very mean
Sometimes they dream of being rich
But sometimes end up in a ditch.
Sometimes they carry more than their weight
Some take a bite of poisonous bait
That might ruin their day
But that bad attitude will never stay.
They always continue to troop along
No matter what gets in their path
They will feel no one’s wrath
And they will never be gone.
