Confusion
A sickness runs through my body
But am I sure it’s my body
Or if the sickness is bad
Nothing is right
Seems different
Hard to imagine anymore
No more self-esteem
Darkness is filling my body
Am I sure it’s the sickness
Or my mind does not see like it use too
But what is the sickness?
Sure can just be me
Why say me
When I can say I
But I is just another me
As in you
Twisted up and lost
Treasure I can’t find
Gold of untold riches
Still lonely with lost mind
Not sure if I’m lost
Are you lost?
Because there is no point
Stuck with a start and never going to finish
Confused with words
A band I hear
The race has began
Smooth sailing for now
Yet rough waters after the finish
Or not even sure what is after the finish
We still race for everything
Rather than take time to look at life
