A beautiful contradiction
There’s fire in my soul
but ice inside my heart
I’m burning to move on
but I’m frozen- cannot start
I want to change the world
but I’m trapped inside my head
my flag would be unfurled
but it’s strangling me instead
I hold my life together
and rip myself in two
am I sorry? Never
all my lies are true
