Only Human
Just being in this flesh/
 I feel so many pains/
 It never lets me rest/
 It always leaves hurt stains/
 And always others tell me/
There’s much to be happy for/
 But I fear I just don’t see/
And think there has to be more/
 But maybe I think wrong/
 Or maybe think too much/
 Because I always long/
 To add a perfect touch/
 To this world that’s conflicting/
 Causing turbulence all over/
 And everything addicting/
 Makes this world grow older/
 All people that are trying/
Seem to finish in their tombs/
 So many people dying/
I can feel it in my bones/
 As life turns to ashes/
 And ashes into dust/
 I feel a strong passion/
 To do something I must/
I have to change my qualities/
 To make a positive vibe/
 To make dying a frugality/
 And make the living thrive/
In doing so I will alter/
The way people think and do/
We can hope that will never falter/
And not try, but act what’s true/
 But remember, we’re only human/
 So if we fail all/
We’ve done what very few can/
And stopped us from the fall.
