an unconscious brain
still lying awake
thinking of things, so wonderfully played.

a whirl of the past runs thruough my head,
laced with an uncertain future ahead.

A toss-up of love
filled up with no hope;
fresh tears on my blanket
silently covered up.

A wave of the present wash stressfully over,
misunderstood black takes over my mind
a distressing fever...

Shake violently in terror
with my lips sewn shut,
ripping the stitches apart with a truth
no one wants...

Thrown up out of bed with a force so strong- take a few moments to stop
shaking the very base of my soul
sweating off the almost known...

To sleep once again
my aching heart goes,
to dream of a nightmare
where you always follow.
