Winter to Spring
When the days become cold and the nights colder,
the white of snow becomes yet bolder.
In the land of freezing bliss,
the cold is what some may miss.
Never-ending as the season may seem,
the ice will soon thaw to show a small stream.
Time of cold soon washes away
allowing the spring animals out to play.
Early to come as it may feel
the beauty of Spring is always surreal.
Reality will always set in
when the calm of Spring leaves once again.
