Waiting for Horizons
remember your garden? Is it still there?
Counting our jumps in puddles and counting the drops of life.
They fall from the sky and into your eyes.
Looking back, do you remember our journeys
With the gleaming sun causing rays of heat through our window,
but reaching our destination it always rained.
Hiking to the lake where we would camp out
there would always be a stream with trout in it.
Never mind the wasted time mourning
the sun's arrival to set new daybreak
We now know and always be where we are.

Lately, I've been really into writing mementos and memories. Writing poetry really helps me get out all my thoughts and ideas.
