An Ode to Something
A lot of things we take for granted
They’ve change everyone’s standards with the way they’ve expanded
They’ve left every other contender stranded
Too privileged while having everything they’ve wanted obscure their reality
The materialistic value has altered their mentality
They’ve lost all touch with humanity
Self-Aggrandizing with all their vanity
Fortunately, we aren’t them
We have a lot more things than them
Scintillating and charitable like the sun that provides us life
Even then, we still wonder when it will come to an end
