You watch a bird through the window
The bird tweets and stares at you
It looks at you with curious eyes then flies away

Birds fly from their problems, what about us
We all need a salvation, we all need to fly away

All our words spoken
were all once thoughts
and thoughts are all free

wasted moments dwelling on the past, when you here a click at the window
it's the tiny bird waking you back into reality

I was sitting in my house watching the rain pour through my window when this bird came up. It inspired me to write this poem.
