The stars are out tonight,

Oh how bright.

Presents under the tree,

Kids all filled with glee.

Stockings hang by the fire,

As we listen to songs sung by the choir.

Everything seems so good,

But something is being misunderstood

Something feels wrong,

And i just cant play along

People in such a desire,

To fill their wants instead of the needs.

Why is this the theme?

 Family, friends, and loved ones, 

Is all we really need.

Everyone has so much greed

The true meaning of Christmas must be revealed, 

As everyone puts up a shield.

They pretend to enjoy the family time,

Just to receive an extra dime.
