Perception
The girl in the mirror stares back at me
Is this what others see?
The frayed hair,
The skin that isn't fair?
The voice in the video repeats my words
It sounds worse than screeching birds
Is this what others hear?
How I pity my friend's ear
Everything is fake
This fear keeps me awake
When I should be asleep
But then I hear a beep
A message on my phone
And I know I'm not alone
Loving friends surround me
They make it their job to bring me glee
Thats when I had a realization
Flaws are all about perception
Mine is skewed
Putting me in a constant feud
Fortunately my perception isn't how I'm viewed
