The Long Night
The land of hope,
Is now empty
The once strong castles
Can no longer protect its inhabitants
The night approaches
Humanity's dreams crumble
while the dead march on
The king’s army grows
Lost cities take march on to the new
Structures that had contained the scollors
Collect the dust and pass into obscurity
The dead wait for the living to join their ranks
Our new king takes the fallen
The living’s history begins to fade
The books, the bloodlines, and memories
Are now lost
Frost begins to form on our world
Winter Is Here.
