If a grain could make a sun of gold,
If a cloud could make a storm so bold,
Then why can't a hand be quickly lent,
To straighten the lives that have been bent,
Because I'll tell you if I could be,
The hand that some people never see,
To hold and carry through the pain,
With no riches except love to gain,
Then the world could be green once more,
For I could make a difference none would ignore,
If a grain could make a sun of gold,
If a cloud could make a storm so bold.
