Where we go after we pass from this world has always been somewhat of a mystery? something
we have all thought of but never cared to find out the truth. Those who live in the light during
their time on earth surrounded by loved ones, laughter and joy will have such graces in Heaven
as they did on earth. Although they do not call it heaven, they call it the Land of the
Remembered. For only those who are cherished and remembered by their loved ones in the
world of the living can enter into the land. But where there is light, there is also darkness. In the
Land of Darkness, all that is evil about the world lingers there. The souls who have done evil
things in their life are sent there for eternity, with no hope of escaping. These two worlds float in
empty space, one right above the other but never touching. This is because they are kept apart
by a barrier: a seperate world in between worlds where those who are good go when their time
has come to leave the Land of the Remembered. This is a sad world, and it is here where the
poor sweet souls of once loving and caring people go to live out their existence. Souls who are
forgotten float in a dark place between spaces. They can see the souls in the light land above
and they can see earth below them? the space where the living reside. They never see the
darkness of the land of evil, which they are quite thankful for? no one should have to look upon
such evils. There is no light in the space where the Forgotten ones are, there are no beautiful
things there nor happiness. It is a lonely existence and one they all share collectively but cannot
talk about, because they cannot speak. They see all that goes on around them and they look
down anxiously at the Land of the Living and await the moment when a person happens upon
their grave and remembers them again. When that happens, they ascend back up to the
heavens, to the Land of the Remembered where they remain until they are forgotten yet again.
It is a lonely existence, and the poor souls who have been there for decades face the reality that
they may never escape. They feel for the humans on earth, ignorant of what awaits them in the
afterlife. They try and try to speak to the living, telling them to do good deeds and be loved by
many people before their life is whisked away and they are left lonely, unremembered, and
thrust into dark oblivion. But the living cannot hear the dead. And the dead cannot speak to the
living. So there they stay, watching the living below and the Angels above, waiting for their
chance to be cherished again.
