Michael Jordan Signs With Charlotte!?
Rumors are speculating around the national basketball association. The Charlotte Bobcats owner and former guard/ forward for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizard Michael Jordan is signing a maximum 5 year 25 million dollar contract to play for the team that he owns to assure that the Charlotte Bobcats make the playoffs for the next five years.
At the age of 51, Michael Jordan, the former six-time NBA world champion with the chicago bulls nicknamed “his airness” in his youth. But now, as a senior citizen, Jordan will be at the training camp for the Bobcats shooting around with the young ones of the team with a cane in hand. Can he really keep up with the way the game is played now. “Things are not the same anymore,” said former teammate Scottie Pippen after hearing Jordan’s press conference that he is coming out of retirement for the 3rd time.
“There needs to be a change,” said Jordan in his opening sentence before signing a five-year contract with the Bobcats. “I know that I shocked the s**t outta him,” said Jordan after telling Pippen that he is stepping on the court for the next 5 seasons. But can Jordan keep up with the youth of the NBA for the next six seasons?
After the NBA announced his comeback to the Charlotte Bobcats his jersey sales went up triple the times, more than Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and Lebron James put together breaking the record for most jersey sale in the year. Michael Jordan promised change when he signed his contract with the Bobcats, can he really change the Bobcats at 51 years of age. Will the Bobcats finish with a higher record than 8th seed? .The Bobcats had the worst record in the nba with a 7-59 record could Micheal Jordan fix that? could jordan fix the Charlotte Bobcats into a playoff worthy team?. We’ll see next season.
