The Life of Avalon



When a girl named Avalon Rosewood appeared on the doorstep of Madeline and David’s Sewell’s house, their lives would never be the same. Avalon was just a baby when she was set on their doorstep, once she started to grow up she discovered she had abilities that were thought to be impossible. She is able to see imprints on people who have been murdered and the person who killed them has the same imprint that they left on their victims body. She thought she was just a normal girl with a special gift, she is more than that. When she was little, while asleep she got visions of different events, but now since she is sixteen years old her visions got stronger that she now can see visions while she is awake. A secret that she has never known was that the mysteries girl she has always seen in her visions was actually her the whole time. Her visions started when she was just ten years old. She always drew a picture of what she saw in her visions and made a story to connect all of her drawings together. Her visions showed that the mystery girl’s mother was a werewolf and her father was was Zeus the king of all Gods, ruler of the sky. For Avalon’s junior year while she was heading toward her seat next to best friend named Jay. Avalon and Jay have been friends ever since they were six years old, he is the only person who knows about Avalon’s special ability to see imprints. Her teacher introduced a new student named Rhydian to the English class. When Rhydian took a seat next to Avalon, she felt that there was something different about him compared to everyone else. At lunch she invited Rhydian to have lunch with her and her friends Tom, Shannon, Chelsea, and Jay, so Rhydian said sure. After school Avalon and everyone else she knew from school were heading to a party down at Claire Grey’s beach house as a celebration of a new school year . While there she bumped into Rhydian, so they started to hangout and talk, later on at the party Rhydian and Avalon went on one of the speed boats, while riding it something started to loar her to follow the echo but when she and Rhydian got a closer look Avalon noticed it was a girl dead in the water. A few weeks later Jay started to give the silent treatment to Avalon because Jay kept telling Avalon that Rhydian was trouble but Avalon disagreed, because Avalon had a crush on Rhydian, Rhydian also asked Avalon to Homecoming and she said yes. Over the past three weeks two other girls went missing and were later found dead, so every girl in Avalon’s school carried pepper spray in their purses. One day Avalon went out for a run on a trail by her house after Rhydian had left. While running Avalon sensed something was following her since she has heightened senses. Then she sees movement out of the corner of her eye and she began to run faster but instead of running towards her house she just tried to run away from a tall man dressed in camouflage even his face was painted. When she thought she lost him she hid behind a tree. She then heard someone calling her name that’s when she recognized that it was Rhydian she then yelled out to tell him that she was there. Then she started running again to make sure she lost the man chasing her, Avalon accidentally fell hard into the river and next thing she knew she was in a ambulance and she had a sharp pain shoot up from her left ankle. At the hospital she told her uncle who is the police chief and her parents what happened. When the doctors said Avalon severely sprained left ankle, so she was stuck having to be on crutches. She was happy though that Rhydian came and found her but she was also frightened because she knew the serial killer was still out there and was probably going to come after her again. On the day of the Homecoming although Avalon was still on crutches she was glad she came with Rhydian and her friends. Rhydian went off outside to show some of his friends his new car, while Avalon and her friend Chelsea went to the bathroom but not the one in the gym because it was packed, so they went to the one in a hall where no one was at all. When Chelsea was done she badly wanted to get back to her date so Avalon told her to go ahead and she will be there after she fixes her ankle brace. Since Chelsea went back already she was alone until she heard the door open up again she turned herself around and recognized that it was the serial killer. He started to force Avalon to go out and forced her to head toward the exit that was when she heard Rhydian call out for her. When he caught up to Avalon, he noticed fear in her eyes so he swung a punch at the man. When Avalon finally got out of the man's grasp Rhydian picked her up and started to run toward the gym. That was when she heard a gunshot the next thing Avalon knew Rhydian was laying next to her facedown. That was when the man kidnapped her. Chelsea noticed that neither Rhydian or Avalon has came back. So she went to go search for them. When Chelsea found Rhydian face down she also noticed that Avalon’s crutches sprawled across the ground. So she called 911 and while on the ride to the hospital Rhydian went into a coma for a whole week. Avalon on the other hand was kept alive for only a day and a half till the full moon she transformed into a werewolf for the first time, that the serial killer shot her in the leg but that didn’t stop Avalon he then stabbed her in the chest, that she turned back to human and went limp. The next day, the man buried her body in one state over. Avalon’s spirit traveled to the hospital four days later and she revives Rhydian. When he wakes up he noticed that Avalon was a ghost which meant she has been killed. She told Rhydian to go to her house and look at her journal and read all because it would show where she was buried and wanted to have the man who killed her be arrested. When Rhydian was released from the hospital he read and looked at every drawing in her journal. In her drawings she drew a pack of werewolves in the forest acrossed from Avalon’s house, in her drawing Rhydian stood in front of the pack. So Rhydian started to head toward the forest. When he thought he was deep enough he came to an abrupt halt. That was when he saw the pack come together. When they were all together Rhydian spoke up and asked who is the leader, when one of the wolves came to the front of the pack, that was when they all transformed back into humans, when their leader came up to Rhydian and questioned him about who he was, when he was done introducing himself, he asked the leader to speak a woman named Mary Rosewood, when the leader said that her name was Mary she asked why, then he explained that Avalon was Mary’s daughter who has died sadly. Mary then asked how did he know that she was Avalon’s mother. Rhydian showed her Avalon’s journal. When she was done looking through it she determined to find her daughter’s body. When they found her body in Portland, Oregon, they brought her back to her hometown Seattle, Washington. When Avalon was finally laid to rest, they caught the serial killer at Avalon’s funeral. But Avalon’s ghostly spirit lives on.
