Miley’s Gone Wild
Miley Cyrus, despite her wild outburst to get attention recently, is an incredible artist that is just seeking to reinvent her look. When Miley made an appearance at the VMAs this year, controversy became madness. The young artist went from being Hannah Montana, every little girl’s role model, to the wild Miley Cyrus with short hair, posing naked and grown up woman very quickly. This rapid transformation resulted in people seeing her as a bad influence and no longer respecting her as an artist.
One might say that Miley is crazy for revealing herself in the way that she did, and that she is just too young to be making stupid decisions like that, but people need to realize that she’s now 21 and no longer a young Disney actress.
No doubt, Miley let out her wild side, but the point was to create a new look for herself as an artist. If she had remained the same young, innocent little girl, she would have been forgotten in the celebrity world. One crazy outburst at the 2013 VMAs most definitely kept people talking way longer than any Hannah Montana performance ever had. happened over the years, Miley has been reinventing her sound. She’s evolving as an artist herself. I think that all of what everyone is calling controversy now, that’s still my Miley.”
Nobody should forget what incredible talent this young artist has. Although some of her newest songs some might call crazy, she isn’t credited for the amazing vocal talent she has. It was only in September of last year that Miley released her song Lilac Wine; after listening to this breath taking song, one might argue that it isn’t the same girl singing that song that was shown “twerking” on Robin Thicke. Her voice is still the same, if not stronger, but she is simply trying to regain the popularity she had when she was a young girl in a new, creative manner.
Miley Cyrus has worked extremely hard to further her career and become a better artist. She is just simply going for a new look. “I have this freedom to do whatever I want because I’m starting as a new artist now,” she says on MTV’s “The Movement”. Miley is old enough to make her own decisions, and has her father completely by her side. Her talent should never be forgotten as she continues in reinventing herself.
