For her loud, genuine, contagious laugh,
For her heartfelt remarks and nimble craft;
Those unwelcome and pleasant days did pass,
Our shared moments flawlessly photographed.
I deem her lovely as a summer’s day,
Though temperate as would be a dragon;
Uncalled for words about how much I weigh,
Perceived spiteful yet our life’s fortune.
A friendship outsiders shan’t comprehend,
Cherished as one does a jewel at heart;
Accompanied, I march to this life’s end,
Hoping, preaching, no cause drifts us apart.
          I send love through a sonnet unpolished,
          To her, whose sixteen shall be accomplished.
